I bought a used Gibson SG a number of years back, but partly from some tampering from the previous owner, the guitar had never played 100% well, nor reliably stayed in tune. I handed the Gibson SG over to Brad at BH Guitares for a complete tune-up, and what I got back was a guitar that played unbelievably well up and down the neck. He had cleaned it up (body and electronics), adjusted the action and most importantly, the intonation rang true no matter where on the fretboard I played a chord. Brad even educated me on which tuning pegs to acquire should I ever want to bring it back to its original “as sold out of the factory” form.
